The prestigious award of Blue-Flag is renewed for 2019! It’s the eight consecutive assignation for Comacchio. With other 7 beaches of Emilia-Romagna, Comacchio has been taking care and controlling its sandy shore and the quality of sea water since 2011.
Founder and responsible for the project Blue-Flag is FEE, Foundation for Environmental Education, that aims to sustain and award the italian and international beaches that follow precise criteria connected to sustainability.
Criteria which help to establish the Blue-Flag beaches are in total 33. Among them there are activities of environmental education and the updated publication of informations about the quality of water, cleanliness of beach, presence of lifeguards, access and services for people with disabilities, presence of toilets and bins for recycling.
Park Gallanti is glad to know that the coastline of Comacchio has been recognized as suitable for the Blue Flag. Like the municipality where our Holiday Village is located, the cleanliness, the respect, the attention for our coastline and the sea are definitely important for us.
